You step in the shower and turn on the hot shower but nothing but cold water flows. That’s a real problem. Really a lack of hot water in any faucet in the house is an issue. If there’s no hot water coming out of any of the faucets in the house check the hot water heater. If the other faucets in the house are producing hot water, that is a good sign. You just need to disassemble the faucet that is not working. Most likely the water port cartridge is blocked. If this is the case then you need to turn off the water. Check the valves under the sink on both sides turn off the water. Now take off the faucet and clean the ports well. Next, you have to reassemble the faucet and turn the water valves back on. The hot water should run freely.
